Sidam’s Xnovo Three-Wheeler
Vehicles in Europe are getting smaller and smaller as gas prices are getting more expensive. Take a look at those Smart cars driving around. I’m not so sure what to make of this new three-wheelers from Chinese built Sidam Xnovo, it resemble more of a motorcycle than a car, or maybe just the mix of the two.
The Sidam’s Xnovo features 2 rear wheels and a front wheel, each on a separate independently suspended swing arm. The first iteration will run on a 500cc Piaggio-engined petrol version, but there are hybrids and electric models coming later featuring twin electric motors, one in each wheel hub.
The Xnovo will be available to purchase later in 2008 for a cost of €8000.
