Wisconsin’s man charged for shooting lawn mower when it didn’t start
Keith Walendowski, 56, has a short fuse, and if you look at his photo, he is the sort of man if you cross his path, he’ll kick your ass. He is the last man in the world you’d want to be a raging alcoholic and own illegal firearms. But he is, and he does and his lawn mower was at the receiving end.
Walendowski from Midwestern US state of Wisconsin was arrested last weekend for shooting his lawn mower in his garden because it wouldn’t start. He was then charged by police in Milwaukee with disorderly conduct and possession of a sawn-off shotgun and he could face a fine of up to $11,000 and a maximum prison sentence of six-and-a-half years if convicted.
Keith told the police: “It’s my lawn mower and my yard, so I can shoot it if I want.”
Dick Wagner, of Wagner’s Garden Mart in Milwaukee said that Walendowski might now have difficulty getting his lawn mower repaired.
“Anything not factory recommended would void the warranty,” he said.
