Window 7 getting Parallel Processing?
Microsoft has competition on all fronts. Although it does kinda help them that now the economy is in a slump and their systems are cheaper than Apple (until October 14’th…maybe).
In any case the next version of the Mac OS will have Parallel Processing which is one of its biggest features. Microsoft sensed the hand writing on the wall and has now said that it is also engineering that into Window’s 7. But there is a little problem. Win32 was never designed for this says Craig Mundie who is Microsoft’s Chief Research and Strategy Officer. So now they will have to reprogram many of the layers of the OS.
All this will lead to a much better system and one that is fully Parallel Processing in Window’s 8. Good luck MS.
