We’ve seen robots helping out at home or work, but have you ever seen a violin playing robot? Toyota has recently released a robot that can do just that, though not a master performer, it can play a mean version of Elgar’s Pomp & Circumstance.

The five foot tall (150 cm), two-legged violin playing robot has a human-like dexterity and by playing the violin, it proves just how well it can coordinate its fingers and arms. Robots like this could be put to use in nursing homes and medical care. This latest release comes after the trumpet playing robot Toyota released 3 years ago.
