The Smallest HDTV Camera On The Planet
We were all aware that HDTV cameras were becoming smaller but it’s a bit of a surprise to see one no bigger than a sugar cube. That’s more or less the correct dimensions for this tiny new camera.
At the National Association of Broadcasters convention, later this month in Las Vegas Toshiba will be showing off its new baby, the 2.3ounce IK-HD1, the smallest HDTV camera on the planet, has no less than 3 CCD chips inside. That produces broadcast quality, 1080i color images.
The intended use of this new tech device is to bring viewers greater enjoyment of…. Reality TV shows, by positioning the little monster up to 90 feet away from its intended victims.
