I have so many CD ROM drives lying around which i have no use for. In fact, the collection is getting so ridiculously large that I need a separate box for them. I guess the reason I’m holding on to them is I always think that I’ll get around to finding a use for them eventually. Apparently someone is smarter than I am and thought up a better way to make use of their old CD ROM drives.

What they came up with was a CD ROM clock. The clock was made from recycled Samsung CD-RW drive and the clock face is a specialy treated CD-rom disk. The clock stands at 12″ inches tall by 5 3/4 wide and can be placed on your desk or hung on wall using the built in bracket.

By the time this post was written, the clock was sold out. It was available at Etsy for $34.99 USD.
