Modern Wushu is a performance art derived from traditional Chinese martial arts where the practitioners mainly compete in forms. it was created in 1949 by the People’s Republic of China in an attempt to stop people from training real Kung Fu. Here is a video with two Chinese Wushu girls sword fighting with light sabers, well, heck! they’re much better than the Jedi from the films.
Subway’s billboard ads are boring most of the time, maybe I’m just ad blind but Jeff Simmermon saw this Star Wars advertisement that a creative vandal had mashed up with bits from a beer ad and a poster for a Takashi Murakami exhibit.

Feast your eyes on this monster, a 48″ fan made Star Wars space ship, the Star Destroyer build from scratch. It is not yet completed, but you can see the progress on his Star Destroyer Project homepage. The attention to detail is mind boggling, especially now that some of the lights are in place.
This steam punk Darth Vader mask was created by modifying an old mask that was bought at Disney World. Now up for sale on eBay, the auction is ending Apr-03-08. As of this moment, the bidding price was $65.50 USD, i think it’ll end at around $150 USD. I wouldn’t go for it, since i think it looks like a piece of junk, but the chest plate i digg.
SpikeTv came up with this brilliant marketing idea. They installed fake Star Wars “light sabers” on bus shelters where the normal ads would usually go, with the promo heading “use only in case of Sith.”
Apparently Spike TV will be airing the Star Wars saga and to promote it, Spike TV have made some brilliant advertisements featuring Darth Vader to promote the Saga.





George Lucas talks to Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming Star Wars live-action television series. During the interview Lucas confirmed that it will be a 100 episodes show, and that casting hasn’t begun yet.
In June of 1977, Jim, John, and Gary saw Star Wars at White City Cinema in Worcester, Massachusetts. They liked the film and so decided to remake some of their favorite scenes on super 8mm. The result was a 50 minutes film that finally completed in 1980. Very impressive!
