This is the latest extended trailer of Capcom’s Resident Evil 5, which reveals more game characters and locations. A new female character was also unveiled.

Basketball used to be the exclusive world of 7 foot men with hands so big that they can grab a basketball out of the air as if it were a baseball. Perhaps that’s why basketball is so popular with gamers, as it makes them feel they are playing on an even field with these giant men.

Frankly i can’t wait for the release of Rock Band being a huge fan of Guitar Heroes myself. But i have to wait for just over a month for it, since I’m from the UK. EA has just set a release date for Rock Band in the UK for the 23rd March. EA will release the game on the Xbox360 first and Playstation and Wii are scheduled for summer release.

As reported on PC World, Sony have recently announced that it will release a firm ware update for the PS3. The new firm ware upgrade enables Blu-ray Disc Profile 2.0, or BD-Live, to be supported on the PS3. BD-Live enables Blu-ray Disc makers to incorporate additional interactive features including downloadable video content, ringtones, and games.

T3 Magazine are reporting that they have an ‘insider source’ over at Sony who say they are working on a new design for the PS3. Apparently it features a new coat of paint, a smaller footprint and an overall sexier look. Hmm. While T3 magazine aren’t exactly the most reliable people in the world, I think it would actually make sense for Sony to do this. PlayStation 3 is picking up momentum - a newer, smaller and sleeker console with a lower price tag could definitely lure even more people to the console. T3 say the redesign is slated for a Fall 08 release. We’ll see, we’ll see.
