Its now called digital drugs, musical sounds that are said by their producers to bring on the same effects that regular narcotics such as crack and cocaine does. According to those who sell them all you need is a computer and a headphone and you can begin your daily dose of this new type of high.

James Houston, a Glasgow School of Art’s visual communication graduate creates this inventive cover version of Radiohead’s Nude as his final project. The piece is played on the following instruments: Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer, Epson dot matrix printer, HP Scanjet scanner, and an array of hard drives. Forward to 1:08, the beginning is rather boring, but it gets better after the intro.

Bo Diddley dies at age 79

The founding father of Rock’n'Roll Bo Diddley passed away today, Monday, at the age of 79, due to heart failure at his home in Archer, Florida.

He had suffered a heart attack in August, three months after suffering a stroke while touring in Iowa, which affected his ability to speak.
