Oscar-nominated French animation Persepolis, which is based on Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel, it tells a poignant story of Marjane, a young Iranian girl growing up during the Islamic Revolution.

Persepolis is a wonderfully surreal coming-of-age story that mixes Girrl Power with a startling political awareness not normally seen on an animated movie. Watch out for it on April 25, when it will be released in the UK.
