Man thinks he’s a swallow and builds giant nest
Dutch performing artist Benjamin Verdonck’s The Great Swallow was a 7 day/24 hour theatre performance played out 50 metres above the skyline of Weena Tower in Rotterdam. The nest was built using the crowns of 23 silver birches, 2 straw bales, 3 bags of sand, 12 bucket of glue and 19 cans of polyurethane foam.
