For some reason, there are people out there who just have to take a perfectly simple and well proven item of technology and make it over complicated. The sundial was the ancient forerunner to the clock. The problem is that it only works when the sun shines.

Add to that, the fact that there is only one sun, so you only get to know what hour it is. In ancient times, this may have been fine, but in the modern world, we like our time pieces to be a little more accurate.

Enter the BulbDial Clock that replaces that useless real sun, with three highly efficient lamps. The lamps rotate around a central post thus casting three shadows, each of a different length, to produce hours, minutes, and even seconds.
