Sharp has announced the launch date of their ultra slim LCD TV in the UK for September. The new Aquos X range is said to be the world’s thinnest LCD TV at 34 mm thick and presumably available in sizes of 37, 42 and 46 inches. The Aquos X range was launched in Japan 8 months ago and received good reviews, after all Sharp is the world major player in LCD TV.Improved overall image quality is provided by the incredible 120Hz frame rate conversion in combination with Full 1080p resolution and the contrast ratio of 15,000:1. These should eliminate some of the motion judder in fast moving pictures. I cannot wait for this beauty to arrive here in September, let’s see whether it can live up to the hype.
