Palin email hacker found
Now, now kids. Its not a good idea to hack into anyone’s email account no matter how much you hate them (even if they are a McCain or Palin). Turns out the kid who did it was none other than 20-year old David Kernell.
Mr. Kernell turned himself into FBI officials today. If convicted of his crimes he can spend a maximum of 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Let me assure you that this is not a pretty situation.
According to the indictment, Kernell “intentionally and without authorization accessed a protected computer by means of an interstate communication and thereby obtained information.”
Oh and just for the record, the lousy security flaw goes to none other than Yahoo. I know you were thinking it was Hotmail but sorry, Hotmail cannot take credit here.
