Simroid aka Pain Girl (Ita-gaaru) is a female patient robot designed by Kokoro Co., Ltd especially to train dental students.

According to Dr. Naotake Shibui of the Nippon Dental University in Tokyo, Simroid is modeled after a 28-year-old woman and she’ was designed to simulate a real female patient. She is equipped with pain sensors that trigger over 30 responses to indicate discomforts, hence the nickname Pain Girl.

Apart from Simroid’s ability to interact with dental students, and react to mouth pains, the robot also has sensors embedded in her chest to keep out pervy dental students from leaning their elbows too close to her boobies. Wonder what sounds she’ll make when that happens?
