Oricon has recently conducted a survey, consisting of 900 volunteers to list their top 10 anime films of all time and not surprisingly most of the anime films in the top ten list were big hit in cinema around the globe as well. My favorite in the top ten would have to be between Detective Conan Film Series and Spirited Away, but I would like to see Naruto in there as well. Anyway what is your favorite anime of all time?

• Castle of Cagliostro (Rupan Sansei: Kariosutoro no Shiro)

• Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone (Evangerion Shin Gekijoban: Jo, lit.)

If you are new to anime and don’t know where to start, I’d suggest you go with Spirited Away and work your way down from there.
