Techotic

As you have noticed, if you are a regular reader here, Techotic have a new theme. We weren’t too happy with the Free theme we had for Techotic. It was good for what it was, but we feel that for Techotic to move to the next level, we need something different than the rest of the free loaders.

The free theme was good, but it had a few thousands downloads, meaning that Techotic looks the same as a few thousands other sites out there. Thus, we decided to invest in a custom designed theme that no other sites have. We wanted something clean and white, not too cluttered up like most tech or gadget blogs out there. Actually, we based our design on Smashing Magazine, in our opinion, it has one of the best blog themes in the blogosphere.

Of course, the new Techotic theme is not fully completed yet. There are still bits and pieces that need to be fixed and the logo to be made as well. We will hire a logo designer next week and hopefully it will turn out shiny.
