Matel are receiving some major backlash after having created a new Barbie doll which many are describing as the S&M Barbie. The doll is called Black Canary Barbie and comes with kinky fishnets, motorcycle jacket, black gloves and boots.

The Black Canary Barbie is based on a DC comic superhero of the same name and it is scheduled to be released in September. But we will have to wait and see as religious groups, such as Christian Voice are outraged with the new S&M Barbie, they said: “Barbie has always been on the tarty side and this is taking it too far. A children’s doll in sexually suggestive clothing is irresponsible – it’s filth.”

We bet if Barbie was dressed as Wonder Woman, which is more revealing, then it would be O.K.
