UK based amateur photographer Mike Stimpson has recreated some of the most iconic photographs of the 20th Century using LEGO, yep, weird as it may sound, they’re actually good. These photographs are hours of work remodeling the iconic images using elaborate lighting set ups and macro photography. Though these photographs were well excecuted, but you can’t recreate human emotions using Lego, as evident from the “Viet Cong Captain” photo below.

Mike says of his Lego recreation of the famous Vietnam war photograph: “The original is somewhat more distressing than the Lego version. It’s the smiley faces that do it.”
