Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studio’s big screen adaption of Marvel’s legendary super hero Iron Man will be shown in theaters near you in May 2^nd 2008. Tony Stark aka Iron Man is played by Robert Downing Jr. as a brilliant inventor and billionaire who is kidnapped in Afghanistan and forced to build a missile, but instead Stark builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he returns to America Stark begins to improve his suit of armor and becomes the technologically advanced superhero Iron Man.

Iron Man was directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Avi Arad. All the original cast members have signed up for a sequel and Favreau had planned out Iron Man trilogy.
