Cheeta the Chimp was huge back in the days, but the 76 year old Chimp is currently retired and living in Palm Springs. The Chimp was in such movies as Tarzan the Ape Man (1932), Tarzan and His Mate (1934), Dr. Dolittle (1967) and perhaps the best movie of all time, Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla (1952). There have been six attempts to get Cheeta a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but he was denied each time.

I’ve done my part by filling out the petition form, so if you’re interested in helping Cheeta get his due, then head on over to the ipetitions site and do your part. He deserves to be a Star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, after all, talentless twat like Ryan Seacrest is among the Stars.
