Gobelins Tapestry, as Woven by a Computer

Traditional Gobelins tapestries are hand-embroidered and sewed by skilled craftsmen/craftswomen, but Margret Eicher’s tapestries are refined industrial products, woven by a computer. She uses modern days religion and digital cultures for inspirations as were often the case with ole Gobelins tapestry scenes, whereby religious arts and famous paintings were often the source for inspirations.
