Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter 2 players are to be rewarded with a free Throwback content pack supplied by manufacturers Ubisoft.

This second new pack is available for download at Live Marketplace. When selecting the new game mode you can enjoy lots of newly re-worked maps that have been altered from the old Ghost Recon. At the same time as downloading, the second free set of additions. You can also avail yourself of the first Throwback Pack which is also a free download.

This game mode involves exercises, working out in co-operation with your chums how to escort a character while he traverses hostile territory, to make it to his extraction rendezvous.

The new maps were inspired by the previous Ghost Recon Advanced, Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike and of course Ghost Recon 2. One of the available maps is Summit Strike a Ghost Town map that drops you in a small Korean village with a labyrinth of tiny alleyways and Boneyard (GRAW) is made up of tetanus filled rusting vehicles.

A larger map is of the Aral Sea, also Summit Strike, which is set in an old village harbor filled with wrecked ships. From Ghost Recon 2 there is Bunkers and action training ground designed for you to hide out as the bullets flyover your head.

From GRAW you will be able to download Rocky Cove, a coastal scene with jutting sharp rocks, designed to trip and hurt you.

The biggest download also comes from GRAW this is River Depot, set in an old storage warehouse that has been overtaken by the jungle and is being used as a secret military base. Summit Strike also offers District, set in a large Kazakh city, with numerous tactical options.

Both War Fighter 2 and Ghost Recon Advanced were released in 2008 on 360.
