George Takei and Brad Altman first same-sex couples to obtain licenses in West Hollywood
Star Trek actor George Takei, 71, and Brad Altman, 54 yesterday beamed up a marriage license.
Takei and Altman were first same-sex couples to obtain licenses in West Hollywood on Tuesday morning. The couple have been together for 21 years and they will have a wedding ceremony on September 14 in the Democracy Room of the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles.
Their wedding license is valid for 90 days.
