That is exactly what John Wilkinson, 24 of Stanton Texas learned. The 24 year old had just finished robbing a drug store when he returned to his car to find he had locked himself out. He then took off on foot. Police soon caught up with him and shot him in the shoulder cause they thought he was carrying a gun when in reality he was only carrying a caulking gun, wrapped in a dark cloth. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his wounds before being locked up in jail on account for armed robbery.
