Japanese architects Hirofumi Ohno, Yuji Nakae and Akiyoshi Takagi are also very enthusiastic about their hobby. They have built the NE apartment building, a stylish and upmarket block of eight apartments.

The apartments are separated by seven individual thick concrete walls. These walls run the length of the apartment block and can be accessed from each apartment. The building has an unusual ‘C’ shape.

In the resort town of Lake Taupo on the North Island of New Zealand there is a futuristic building to be built sometimes this year, with the aim of being a green community.
