Car Defaced for Parking Badly
We’d expect to get a parking ticket or a swearing note on the windscreen of our poorly parked car. But no, someone decided to take the law into their own hand by defacing a poorly parked car.
When Rachel Ward, 27, of Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, hurriedly parked her car behind the Ruby Rooms nightclub so she could catch a train to work, unaware of a sign warning that cars would be clamped, little did she know that her car would be sprayed with red paint when she returned.
Because Rachel parked her car where she was not allow to, someone decided to write the word ‘Cant Read’ across the car’s bodywork and slashed her tyres. Noticed how the vandal spelled the word, Yep, you got it, there’s an apostrophe missing in ‘Can’t’.
‘I thought they had a cheek asking if I can’t read when they clearly can’t spell,’ said Rachel. ‘The vandalism was bad enough but then they add insult to injury by forgetting the apostrophe.’
Rachel’s friend Rebeca Smith,27, whose car was also sprayed with the same misspelled word, when she parked her car on the same spot.
No one from the night club was available for comments, police are investigating the issues.
