Breasts made from Barbie doll
Seattle-based photographer Chris Jordan’s Running The Numbers project which aims to show the large-scale waste of consumerism in the US.
Chris who only turned to photography five years ago said he was trying to encourage people to take action by translating ‘gigantic numbers’ into visual images.
In one of his photographs was a pair of breasts using 32,000 Barbie dolls to depict the number of women in the US who have breast enlargement surgery every month.
Chris also took a photograph of 2 million plastic bottles together, the number consumed in the US every five minutes.
