44lb NJ cat adopted
Thats the story that is coming out of New Jersey. A 44LB cat (just three pounds under the world record) was found lumbering around his hometown after his owner lost their house to foreclosure.
More than 400 people applied to adopt the obese tabby. The shelter eventually chose a southern NJ family to adopt the cat. Along with the cat comes doctors orders and prescription pills to bring down the 10-year-old cats weight.
