Johan Huibers, a Dutch contractor built this replica of the Noah’s Ark.

The replica Noah’s Ark is 1/2 the length and 1/3 the width of the Biblical dimensions. But, it has life size models of giraffe, elephants, lions, crocodiles, zebras and other animals inside.

Dog meat or “xiangrou” in Chinese is to taken off the menu during next month’s Beijing Olympic Games. Waiters and waitresses were instruct to “patiently” suggest other options to diners who order dog “fragant meat”. Dog meat is eaten by some Chinese for its purported health-giving qualities.

Monkey employs as a tourism promotions inspector

A 17-year-old monkey, called Bobby was hired by Town Hall staff in Radków, Poland to promote a local beauty spot in a district called Table Mountains, also known as Monkey Rock. Bobby is being paid $120 USD a month.

Water on the moon

Moon rock brought back to earth during Apollo mission in the late 1960s and early 1970s revealed that water existed on the moon from the beginning, dating back 3 billion years.

The study increases the possibility that water is still present in shadowed craters on the moon’s surface and casts doubt on the theory that liquid was brought to the moon by comets.
