Artist and Lego enthusiast Jan Vormann belongs to a group called “‘20 Eventi’ “. They go around a little town of Bocchignano, Italy patching up decrepit walls with Lego pieces.

It seems that anyone can call themselves an artist these days. The Lego bricks do not blend in with the walls, but they sure brighten up the place. A for effort, and F for concept.

These paintings by Australian artist Ghostpatrol currently working in a studio in Melbourne called Mitten Fortress are quite clever. I particularly like the Tartan Overture painting out of all his paintings, the sanded down pencils with paintings of large headed kid are like little ambiguous windows into a mystical world.
