Four of the guys who run the god of all torrent sites The Pirate Bay have been indicted in Sweden today on charges of being ‘accessories’ to breaking copyright law. The Pirate Bay has faced a huge amount of legal opposition and still to this day remains unharmed; could this case change things? To be honest, I doubt it. These guys are immortal. They wont die. The day The Pirate Bay goes down is the day I will scream Xenu is real into the sky.
Sony’s game division (ps3, ps2, and software) has finally turned a profit after loosing a substantial amount of money last year due to costs of developing the PlayStation 3. In Q3 of 2007 they sold 4.9m PS3’s, breaking their previous quarter records - this certainly has helped with the profit! Good stuff and good work, Sony. I’m loving my PS3 at the moment.
Akin to the recent rumors of the MacBook Air being released yesterday, it looks like they were really true. The MacBook Air is now shipping and are available in some (note, not all) Apple stores across the world. I’m very keen to see the first week sales figures. I’m thinking they will be pretty low considering the price, but then again I’m not an analyst. We’ll see soon enough.
This has to be the sexiest dictionary I’ve ever seen. Created by Korean company Digital Cube, this ‘i-station’ electronic dictionary is freaking hot. This baby does a great deal more than just translating and giving you definitions though; this bitch comes equipped with a 60gb HDD, 4.3-inch touch screen which can be flipped/moved around and can play a variety of video and audio formats. Yummy. There are no plans for a US/EU release at this time.
I rarely play my Wii at the moment, but I’m pretty sure this game will change that. Sonic, Snake, Mario and Link all in the same game? Yes please. Leaks are good. Yum.

Despite some rumors that PS3 owners would not be getting downloadable content for GTA4, it has now been confirmed by Rockstar that both the 360 and ps3 version will get the same downloadable content. Great news.
Huge props to GameWatch for the above screenshot; this game is looking beautiful. I’m a huge Dragonball Z game fan, but the last few games have been more or less the same thing. The huge leap of graphics in this shot is what is really making me drool. It looks like the cartoon. I can’t wait!

This is very exciting news - I’ve been wanting to mess with Wii homebrew for quite some time, but didn’t want to get my system ripped apart. Some clever fucker managed to poke at an exploit in Zelda: Twilight Princess, so that you can run naughty code. All you need to do is load a save file from within Zelda, and the rest is pretty simple. Click the Wii below to go to the source for more details.
It looks like the much anticipated ATI HD 3890 X2 is finally being released - it should be available in stores within the next week or so. The card is supposedly a threat to the nVidia 8800 GTX but there are no solid benchmarks yet. This card is supposedly the power of two full cards, on one. There are obvious benefits to this (space for one) but apparently it can’t come close to two real cards.
I wasn’t expecting this for a long, long time. It seems crazy but pretty much all of the major record companies have signed up for this. Welcome Qtrax - a gnuetta p2p client that is… get this… legal to use. You can download any of your favorite artists songs free. Can I get a hell yes? Now I wont have the thought of being sued by some RIAA fags at the back of my head. You can download Qtrax tonight at midnight, and it is open to the whole of the US and the EU. Awesome. The only catch is there are advertisements on the client, but meh, who cares. Free stuff and legal. Good enough for me.
